Wow! I can't believe how terrible I am at this blogging but I really am just doing this to keep friends and family updated and a log for Jasper for when he gets older.
We had the amazing pleasure of visiting my Brother and his Beautiful Girlfriend Krissy in Bozeman Montana for Christmas. We love Montana and it is always fun to go see my Brother too. He used to ride and take care of horses at Yellowstone. So we usually get stay at the park and explore Yellowstone but this time it was exploring all of Bozeman and Big Sky Ski Resort had to offer. This was Jasper's first Christmas and we couldn't have asked for a better place to spend it and to spend it with.
This was my Brother Stevo's first time meeting Jasper and it was so cool to see my Brother really embrace him. We never got along as kids, well I should explain. When he was younger I was really mean to him and then when he got bigger he was really mean to me. So we always used to fight, until just about 4 years ago. We both have strong opinions and have to be right. So it was always fun to get in debates. But now we are really close and of course I have always loved him so much. It was so cool to see my brother just fall in love with Jasper and Krissy did too. The only thing I was afraid of is that he would call him a hippy child cause apparently to him Joshua and I are hippies ( seriously so far from it,, he only thinks that cause we compost, recycle and now I breast feed and had a natural home birth.) he is so silly.
It was so great to be with the whole family and share in the Holidays with everyone. Joshua and I had great fun, we went Nordic skiing and hiking. We all went to an amazing Steak house and Big Sky Ski Resort and just really enjoyed each others time. For Christmas I made beef wellington with roasted root vegetables and hot fudge sundaes for dessert and my brother made cream corn. We opened a gift that night and enjoyed every ones company. It snowed a lot that night so my brother had to go plow snow but he was back by 7am Christmas morning. It was so great to get Jasper up and take him down stairs to open his gifts. We had a wonderful freshly powdered Christmas morning and ate a yummy french toast bake ( recipe from my Aunt Melia and it is yummy) Then went Snow Mobileing and walked Downtown. It was sad to leave but we were able to see some friends on the way home in Spokane and had a great drive back home. I am so proud of my brother and Krissy and can't wait to make Montana a Holiday tradition.
Oh by the way this was the first Christmas that I didn't have to work or fill a bunch of orders prior or after. Such a nice treat.
